Direct Light was the first major lighting retailer to see the importance of an online presence and has lead the way for a number of years. We were approached in 2015 and asked to re-imagine Direct Light for today’s more mobile connected world as the site had not had any major work done in over five years. Once we looked at the site it was decided a whole new fresh site would be best designed from the ground up to be faster and easier to use for the staff and customers.
With a mobile responsive site being top of the list we built the site to be as user friendly on mobile or tablet as it would be on a desktop. All the features needed to work and be clear to user on all devices. We added features like Facebook login to the site to speed up sign up and checkout removing another obstacle to purchase.
