I was asked to create multiple banners and images to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. Most were used to blackout websites as a mark of respect. Some were printed to be used in stores.
I was asked by an existing client to build a customized "online superstore" that could sell the client's entire portfolio of products totalling over 10,000
The client already had a memorable name and strong branding. I built the site with WooCommerce e-commerce plugin as the client's staff were already familiar with it. The client wanted their customers to be able to sort the products to find their ideal light. As a few thousand products were daunting and would lead to customers shopping with their competition if this were quick and simple. This was achieved through the use of large numbers of product attributes. This also made stock control and price changes faster. The team at British Home Lighting can easily update the site stock and make changes using a simple CSV spreadsheet that can be edited in Microsoft Excel. This can be uploaded to the site.
